Revenue Qualification Supervisor

Job description


Oversees Revenue Qualifying activities in the CBC while utilizing established policies and procedures. Directs and manages staff to perform daily operations to achieve management goals.

Manages staff appropriately and sets clear expectations for performance.
Prioritize and delegate job tasks to ensure timely completion.
Recruit and manage an employee’s work life cycle while following HR policies and procedures.
Support and manage business policies and procedures to maintain workflow standards.
Monitor Medicaid Application Pending reports to ensure timely application of Medicaid coverage.
Maintain high level of customer satisfaction regarding company’s policies on collecting coverage information.
Support and maintain business manual of policies and procedures, contract guidelines, reimbursement updates and collections tips and other reference materials.
Oversee daily Revenue Qualifying activities per policies and procedures set for the CBC.
Monitor C2W ADT workflow queue to ensure workflow is cleared daily.
Manage staff appropriately and set clear expectations for performance.
Prioritize and delegate job tasks to ensure timely competition.
Conduct performance evaluations on a Quarterly basis for staff.
Ensure compliance with SOX regulations.
Recruit and manage an employee’s work life cycle while following HR policies and procedures.
Address performance and/or business issues while keeping direct manager informed.
Timely prepare required reports or actions plans base on results for Sr. Management.
Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
Participate in projects and/or management meetings.
Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary by location.

Minimum (Required): (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level)

2-3 years progressive experience in health care management.
1-2 years experience in long term care pharmacy billing and/or operations.
Effective leadership and management skills.
Effective coaching and listening skills at all levels of the organization.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to effectively translate long-term business strategies and plans into execution and results including defining the priorities, plans and objectives of the organization.
Ability to understand and add value to management interaction, demonstrate ability to work with the management team, influence others and drive change at all levels of the organization to improve employee performance and business results.
Ability to multi-task effectively, be flexible, and operate with a sense of urgency. Open to change and demonstrates the ability to change gears when necessary.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Bachelor’s degree
