JOB DESCRIPTION (PARTIAL LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES)

A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting in to this very rewarding National Sales Director role. Our client, a leading medical devices company, is looking to hire someone who can bring additional value to the role. If you’re dedicated and energetic, and can ensure thorough attention to detail at all times, this could be the perfect role for you.

1) Sell products by implementing national sales plans

2) Supervise regional sales managers

3) Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories

4) Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans

5) Enhance sales volume keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors

6) Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results

7) Grow national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees

8) Maintain national sales staff job results by counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

9) Maintain professional and technical knowledge by effectively networking with industry information sources

10) Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills
======================

1) A university degree is required (preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the medical devices industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to people with recent experience in sales management
